Currently I am studying photography in Italy which is great opportunity for me. Learning new language also is very challenging. Being in the place of birth of art is very inspiring, so much to see and visit.
Beside photography I am musician, guitarist. I think that it helps me to look at photography as an single piece in which every detail is related to rest, to compose the best shot. In series I consider them as verses, choruses etc. Then, listening after months, years to my songs I learned to be critical, I begun to noticed things that I’ve done not at my best. This same happens to old photographs. Clearly memories of places, people are also evoken but the technical and visual aspect of photo is judged by gained experience. I think that I grow up in one of the last generation of photographers who used classic film. I consider this as valuable lesson of responsibility of every frame and attention to every detail. The very beginning of my photographing is connected to NG. This is not just buttering up. In the end of elementary school in Poland I’ve started to subscribing this magazine. I think that work with one’s who co-create NG would be like fulfillment of my old dreams.
