    My First Visit to Lake Wendouree Since It Became a Lake Again

    I watched this little guy for a while. He was using the water to drown the bugs he caught. He wasn't quite as quiet as the swans but it was still amazing to watch him do his thing. by: idle_traveller Views[233] These two just looked magnificent doing whatever it was they were doing. by: idle_traveller Views[172] These swans were surprising quiet ... and sneaky. While I was shotting this one, another snuck up behind me by: idle_traveller Views[226] The dredging team at work so that the schools and clubs can actually use the lake for yachting and rowing. At the moment all of the fairy grass is still too thick in the water by: idle_traveller Views[305] Just some water birds enjoying the recently filled lake. Lake Wendouree has been devoid of bird life for so many years since the drought hit. It's good to see the lake a lake again by: idle_traveller Views[963]
