Women from Muara Mea sow rice seeds in the field. They live from farming by utilizing shifting cultivation. But they will not return for farming in the same place before the land back into forest. However, Muara Mea villagers who live outside of protected forest areas of Lampeong-Gunung Lumut always keep their activities away from the sacred area.
