HONG KONG | Wednesday, 3 June 2009 | Views [647] | Comments [2]

Hong Kong is home but after losing my job in West Oz it hasnt felt that way. I leave in search of a change and a challenge, there has to be something more. Drinking and dancing adds drama to a mundane existance but real life seems increasingly absent from a HK day to day. I know the real world is not going anywhere and i know where my friends will be when i come back. C ya

G'day Iain,

Mate good decision 'I love it' what's been going on with you mate??? other than planning the trip. I am still working with Ferraus.....it's a little boring with only 2 or 3 on camp but at the moment the choice is limited for work....so alas I stay and also save, save, save. I was going to go to Peru this October to volunteer with 'Waves for Development' but now am off to Thailand to get some dental work done that takes priority so maybe early next year...check out the website www.wavesfordevelopment.com maybe you could put that on your agenda. Love to keep in contact regularly mate, get back over to Australia and I'll take you over to the east coast and show you some awesome waves.....take care my friend Belle x

Hi Iain,
Remember me! your mum and dad's friend from Dundee.Your mum has told me about your 2 year round the world trip. Pete and I are envious!
We hope you thoroughly enjoy yourself and savour every minute. I'm sure you will learn loads from the experience.
You only live once and before you know it you are ancient like your mum dad and I!
We are going to visit your mum and dad in October so will no doubt be hearing all about your trip.
Take care and enjoy
Love,
Pauline
