Hunter Valley Crew outback tours

We left Charlestown at 03.10 under the cover of darkness.Went the back way through the wine country stopping at Merriwa to meet up with Bob and Elaine at about 05.40. Temperature at Merriwa was pretty chilly and definitely wasn't shorts weather.We had a coffee from the thermos before moving on to meet up with Al and Julie at Dubbo at about 07.50.They treated us to eggs on toast and cups of tea before we headed off to fuel up at about 08.55. Next stop was at Cobar at 12.30. We boiled the kettle for a cuppa as the coffee shop was shite service. We were back on the road at 13.05.A quick pee stop at Wilcannia at 15.25 before the final leg to Broken Hill arriving about 16.50 local time and a travelling distance of1131 Kms
