Down a rolling road 1 van, 2 girls, 5 states, 6 weeks, 24 gigs, 10106 kilometres, ... oh and 8 fingers crossed ...

Day 1 - 14 feb - syd canberra

Life is like a Willie Nelson song - "like a band of gypsies we roll down the highway"
not to mention "the life I love is making music with my friends" so here we are
"On the road again". Today the road takes us to a show in Batemans Bay, at the moment
we're driving the 52 from Canberra where we played last night.
I gotta say it was the best 'love day' I've had in years and despite my pre-conceptions
CANBERRA ROCKS, or maybe thats too much of a generalisation - THE POT BELLY ROCKS !!!
So lets start at the Beginning. We picked up our amazing new home on wheels this week and managed
to find an English tourist to go with it. Our mate Dana is out from London and decided to jump
on the Bandwagon for the first gig of the tour. (Wanting to show her a good aussie time we made the first stop a winery and the second stop the Bushranger Pub in Collector .. but anyway back to the story) ..World Nomads has been crazy enough to let the likes
of the Hussy Hicks take this van almost the entire way accross the country.
Our Itinery - SYD - DARWIN via perth and broome. Throw in a bunch of gigs and you got yourself a national tour.
