Well we really are on the count down now. Only a few more days before we leave, and boy oh boy, are we getting excited. For the most part we have almost everthing organized and ready to go. There are only a few small details left to take care of, and most of it is packing. The only thing to really worry about now is forgetting something important. Lets not do that.
The other day Sean and I wend and exchanged some of our Canadian savings to Australian. We did pretty darn good if I do say so myself. We made like 23Cents on the dollar, which is not bad considered we weren't expecting to make any extra coin. The extra cash will probably be put towards the purchase of a better car in Sydney.
The last week or so have been busy say good bye to friends and family. Last weekend my parents took off for a 3 week trip to Italy, so we said our goodbyes on friday. That was a hard thing to do for a girl who hasn't spent much more then a few weeks away from her parents her whole life. Big Step, BIG STEP! Our evenings have been filled with nights out to hang with friends and have as much fun as possible before we leave. And now finally, after a year of planning, we have have almost reached our last weekend in E-town.
Next time I write, I'll be tanning on Waikiki drinking our of a coconut.
Peace.
