My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Firstly, a bit about myself. I am a nineteen year old Canadian citizen, currently living in Prince George, British Columbia. I am enrolled in the College of New Caledonia with an intent to pursue a career pertaining to medicine. This upcoming summer I will be the WilderNess Director at Ness Lake Bible Camp, a local Christian summer camp. I currently live in what would be called "the hood", and dedicate my time down here hanging out with the kids of the neighborhood. Apart from that I spend copious amounts of time climbing (either rock faces, bridges, or buildings), indulging in music, and of course taking photos. My heart has always been set on traveling, and being a photographer abroad has been one of my dreams. As to why I should be chosen? Well, I believe that I have a particular gift in seeing God's creation in a unique fashion, as well as a gift to capture that. Though I hope to incorporate this into my vision of serving those I meet abroad in any manner I can. This opportunity would help broaden my world view, and gain a new appreciation for the world I live in and effectively share that joy and passion with others through something as simple yet as potent as a photograph
