«Think Twice» When I saw this woman begging, and the light of her beautiful smile, I wondered who really was the “giver”: me, looking at her from my world, or her, down there, asking for a few coins? At that very moment, I could not help but remember the lyrics of that song, “Think Twice… another day in paradise”, and while giving to one, feeling uneasy at the thought of not being able to give to all. To me, this picture was the perfect illustration to the song.

«Time Warp» It was a sunny afternoon. This homeless woman was walking through, yet beyond our world, untouched and untouchable, an outcast and a goddess at the same moment. Time seemed to stand still for her and the child she carried, she seemed so used to the fact that our world swirls past her, ignoring her. I wanted to find a way to capture how I saw her, I felt she really stood out, so I decided to try a creative use of slow sync, normally used at night.

«They have nothing… yet give so much!» One early morning in Delhi, it was really cold, and a few homeless men were sitting around a fire – they ended up sharing not only warmth, but also their contagious joyful smiles with better off people who had no heating in their homes and were gathering around the fire with them. Quickly the circle grew larger, and I thought it was such an irony, that those with the least had and shared something that others needed and lacked: the luxury of a warm fire.
