Hello my name is Amie Phillips and I am 21 years old from Adelaide, South Australia. I consider myself to be an avid photographer and have a keen eye for detail when it comes to photography. I have been working in nursing for a few years now but concluded that my passion stands elsewhere- Photography!
When it comes to my work I analyse the entire aspect of the environment. I view the world through colours compared to the objects within. When I see a bird; it is the colours that create its beauty, its movements and its environment that define its uniqueness. I see a story that is yearning to be told. As no two pictures are ever the same, it is my obligation to capture that moment and share it to the world. To see through my eyes is to see the beauty of the world. Whether or not I am successful through this Scholarship or not, I see my passion in photography taking me to places I can only dream of now. I hope that I have given you not just an application, but a unique story of my life that you would consider to have a part of this exciting and most adventurous experience to one of the most unique and breathtaking places on earth; Oman and the Arabian Peninsula.
