My name is Lopes Sezabo, born in DRCONGO in 1988. Grown up in a large family where I started to learn how to take photos through one of my Uncles who were a photographer. I have a great passion with photos, most of my photos as a story behind it. I need that second chance I missed when I was a little kids and this is it. Hence, I do take photos of anything which speaks to me or tells me something about the past and present. I Always try to think behind any photos I come across and learn through it. I came here in Australia as a Refugee under Humanitarian program, fleet from war in the DRC and much traumatised from it. Lost so many people of my family at that time of war and, with most of my pictures (Images) reflect on those histories.
This opportunity gives me the chance to tell my story to the world, the story behind images, the true stories of my life. Trying to convince you to accept me, it’s not my option but the only thing am hoping is for my images to speak to you all. I really do want this massive opportunity of my life, an opportunity for me to express myself to the people and tell them what is happening in this world. God knows, knows the through story, the real story.
