Born in Liberia during a period of civil unrest and later relocating to the US due to this, books and magazines were my means of escape and seeing the world. Looking at photographs, I was able to transport myself into the location and enjoy its natural beauty. In that moment, it did not matter where I was physically or what was happening.
For this reason, it has always been my dream and goal to travel the world and capture it through my camera lens but most importantly share with others. People who like me are unable to leave their current location and look to escape, finding hope in the pictures that they see which reminds them of the beauty that still exist in the world.
This opportunity provides me a once in a lifetime chance to achieve this dream and learn from one of the world’s best. I have never been known to not strive to be the best at whatever I do or reach for heights considered unreachable and I hope you give me a chance. I plan to take full advantage of it and will do my best at every task assigned.
