My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Hi,
My name is Marta, a 30 year old who has a passion for experiencing / meeting people from all over the world. When I take photographs it transports me into self expression and allows me to slow down and see the details that make up people's lives. I have been working as a community developer with refugee communities for the past five years which has opened up my eyes in a different way. I continuously learn everyday in my job- which I love, but photography has always given me a voice to express how I see the world. My soul yearns for this expression. Whilst I did a photography course, I use the camera more intuitively and have so much to learn about the technical aspects of photography. This scholarship is an amazing opportunity to learn more about the technical aspects of photography, to be inspired and have courage to re enter the world of photography as well as to learn how to have my work shown/ published.
If I'm selected, I am committed to use this opportunity to learn and apply everything that is shared with me.
My nature has opened doors to local homes and allowed me to meet and see life lived by people striped of facade.
