Autumn leaves in Tallinn

I was inspired by bright colours in the autumn time and I wanted to contrast it with different shades of gray found in the Old Town of Tallinn. Tallinn's Old Town is in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites and I wished to share a bit of it with the world.

My filmmaking experience is based on exercises I have done at school – writing/directing short films, editing, making short documentaries. All these short exsersises have been made in Estonia, but I would really like to take it to the next level and explore foregin countries and new oppurtunities.

My ambiton as a filmmaker is to try different things – from writing/directing to presenting and producing. To understand all fields of filmmaking, helps me to understand how to make better films and how to draw audience to the screen.

This scholarship would mean the world to me and my team member. Being from a tiny country like Estonia, the onliest excitment we get here is changing seasons and then coping with the cold winter. So to experience yet unknown and colourful Rio with all it’s diversities, would be unimaginable experiance that could last a life time.
