I love photography and especially the stories that great photography can tell the viewer. The reason I want to win this scholarship is because I believe I have more to contribute to the photographic world and think that this would be the perfect opportunity for my work to be seen and recognised. Going on a National Geographic assignment would be a dream come true and would be an invaluable experience - learning and working along side a true professional photo journalist. I studied digital Art at College and have since traveled and taken photos along the way, getting a few paid jobs but would now like to concentrate more on photography and gain jobs in the industry, particularly in the field of travel and documentary photography.
