My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

I am a 20 year old psychology student from Costa Rica. I studied photography at Veritas University in my country but I had to drop it because it was very expensive. So i choose psychology for me to finish studying, work and then be able to afford my photography career.
I had the amazing opportunity to go ti Italy as an exchange student (September 09/July 10). While in Italy I discovered how much I ove photography and how much it can do for us. You can tell an entire story or just any particular moment in just one photograph, it really amazed me how much it helped me and entertained me while being there. I was also able to discover another continent, another country, another culture...and it was thanks to photography that I was able to document it.
This contest is a great opportunity and I hope that whomever wins, knows how to take advantage of it since it's a once in a lifetime opportunity.
