IRAN | Wednesday, 27 May 2015 | Views [194] | Scholarship Entry

Our trip in Iran stated with choosing dresses. It is forbidden for girls to appear without scarfs at streets there. Coats or cloaks shouldn`t be little then kneels and blouses should veil wrist. Otherwise it is impossible to escape a penalty. It is no laughing matter in the country with sharia law.
Iran met us on a border for buses with an illustrative poster of the public death penalty. Our new friend was translating from Iranian for us; poster explained a subsequence of smuggled drugs. Death penalty is applied for almost all crimes according to sharia law, but often for murder, very rare for homosexuality.
In spite of big quantity of people in Teheran that might be compared with India streets. But it is not difficult to get acquainted with a young person from inhabitants and speak honestly with them about their life. Sometimes it seemed even thoughtless to be so trustful in the country full of restrictions and punishments.
But it may be explanation of such attitude to other nations that inhabitants live in conditions of cutting off from the world without any possibilities of external contacts: tourists for little information are not in a hurry to go to Iran and an authority of Iran doesn’t encourage trips of their citizens. There are no discos, clubs, cafes, where you can meet with a guy or girl. And even cafes are divided into male and female parts. Under the ban a large number of content sites and movies, even with a hint of eroticism. By the way, the Internet is very slow, difficult to find a public place with Wi-Fi. Iran's impossible to visit the sites from abroad. Rock, pop and even European classics, too, "no", so many young people who want to play music, can often be found in Armenia. There are only alcohol-free beer. But smuggles sale alcohol, however, three times more expensive. “For example, a battle of vodka costs at 30-40 dollars”, – said Rusve.
… Sunsets is descending on Teheran, the streets are filling with child beggars with whom can`t cope orphanages for its quantity and homelessness; women in black hijabs is in a hurry to a Mosk as a prayer on a loudspeaker is inviting at the evening service. It is another side of Iran....
