My childhood dream

My Scholarship entry - My colourful adventure

India | Monday, November 24, 2014 | 5 photos

I’m originally from Kusey, a village hidden in the Southern Ural Mountains of the Republic of Bashkortostan. I'm a Bashkir, and represent one of the indigenous nationalities of Russia. As an international relations specialist I was a participant of several NGO programs, the knowledge and experiences of which I implement nowadays in Russia to promote intercultural dialogue, non-formal learning, active citizenship and encourage the inclusion of young people, regardless of their educational, social, and cultural background. My dream is to be a global citizen. Travelling responsibly, through meeting people, through doing an impact as positive as possible on the environment and local cultures and communities I deeply understand that we're all sharing one world, I broadened my horizon and learned more about cultures, governments, religions, economic and political beliefs. I’m always open to grow personally and professionally, gain new knowledge/experiences, overcome obstacles, and reach my full potential. I believe I have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and social competence in a multicultural environment. I truly want my parents to be proud of me :)
