Kia Ora, I’m Hanah, 22, live in New Zealand and absolutely love photography.
I’m a very outgoing person generally found with a camera in my hands. I am usually out fishing, diving, and camping or relaxing with a book, drawing, catching up with friends.
I would love to get into underwater photography, as I find it such a fascinating and different world and believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience it. I studied Marine Biology at university and also took a summer intro photography course and loved it!
The ability to portray a different view of the world to others is one reason why I fell in love with photography and perfectionism helps me to get the photo I’m after. The main reason, because I find it so much fun!
It has always been a dream of mine to become a professional photographer and I believe that this scholarship would be an amazing and exciting insight as well as providing the opportunity to enhance and develop my photography skills and knowledge, especially from such a great photographer. I can see it helping me gain a photography career in the future and hope that you will consider me a worthy candidate as my love of the art will forever continue to grow
