I chanced upon this unlikely pair of brumbies standing in unison as I was trekking through the Central Flinders Ranges. Their amiable and curious nature let me get close enough to take this photo. As I stood in awe of their beauty for several minutes, I felt profoundly humbled.

During my travels throughout the Flinders Ranges, I discovered an array of abandoned vehicles, caravans and interesting objects. There was something that drew me to this caravan. It seemed to have become a part of the landscape. When I look at it I question its history, whom it belonged to, where it's been and why it was left there.

This photograph, looking out across the north-east of the Flinders Ranges, was taken during a full day hike to St Marys Peak in Wilpena Pound. It had been a wet and overcast day, but after 5 hours of hiking we reached the ridge and the clouds began to shift. Lucky enough to witness this spectacle, I quickly grabbed my camera and clicked as the clouds momentarily parted.
