About haider
I have been doing photography for last eight years, but not as a
professional. Basically I am faddist in documenting cultural heritage
and diversity of my land. On the way of my photographic fascination I
have been institutionalizing my carrier. I have completed graduation of
Photography in 2010, from Pathshala-South Asian media Academy &
Photo Journalism. In last three year’s projects I tried to document some
of the ethnic groups in the Chittagong hill tract (CHT), southeastern
part of Bangladesh, who have long historical background and diversified
cultural orientation in this land. I worked on Bawm tribe in Bandarban
district for last three years. They have their own cultural heritages,
traditions, customs, norms and religions. Mostly the communities are
very different in terms of all respects from the mainstream plain land
culture of our land which attracted me a lot to launch a photography
project on that community. I am confident in developing my existing
skills and in archiving a volume of good photographs on human rights
activities
