My name is Hannah, I am currently nineteen years old living in new south wales in a small town of Picton. I have always had a strong love and desire for visual arts and find all materials and concepts involved very beautiful and inspiring. I have wanted to draw and paint ever since I was very young, and although I possessed such talents at this younger age I began to lose these over time and re-gained a different kind of them when I picked up my very own and first DSLR my dad bought me during year 11. I find that photography is a way of feeling, of touching, imagining and loving something. What you capture on a camera is captured forever, it remembers small things long after you have forgotten everything. The photos I shoot will almost always have a concept or a story behind these as I find I can portray my imagination and dreams through the shoots I set up and although I have almost always wanted to shoot things in the natural environment very much like national geographic I don't believe I have really had the landscape and environment to do this or perhaps haven't had the opportunity to go to such magical places in order to shoot these kinds of images, I find myself comparing my images like these very much so to that of a national geographic photographer, therefore I stick to the still human form images, as much imagination as it may hold. Each of my images I chose do hold quite a concept behind these, from love themed to very morbid like I have found interest in all and very much so wish to further my knowledge in photography especially around animals and landscapes. I believe it would be a life changing experience for someone of my age.
