My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
Mongolia | Sunday, June 16, 2013 | 5 photos
I´ve been an amateur photographer for more than 15 years.
With the exception of advertising photography I´ve tried my hand at most of the types of photography. I have a website with rock/jazz/blues/theatre/performance photography and another with travel/reportage/experimental photography.
I may publish from time to time but very sporadically and definitely not enough in order to live from it. However, I´ve been waiting for a lucky break, which for me means winning a major photo competition or being published by a major magazine. There no other wish I have for my future career.
I´m more and more interested in the etnographic/anthropological side of photography (as photo essays) and I´ve specialised in Asia/China.
It happens that for a year I´ve been planning to travel to Greenland so receiving the present scholarship would be a particular payoff for the serious preparations made. Being a Danish citizen (fluent Danish but actually hexa- if not decalingual) and closely associated with the Adventurers´ Club in Copenhagen could also help you in taking the decision.
The present photos were taken last month in Mongolia.
