Meeting new people and places

About 8 years ago, I was so delighted when I found out that we will be visiting Hungary on our high school trip. During the month of March we managed to leave our small city in southern Serbia for 7 days and with our authorities from the school visit Hungary and city of Budapest.
For most of my friends and me, that was the first chance and time to visit some European big city. After one day of travel by a bus, we reached Budapest and started our 5 day and night trips along Hungary.
Our quides first introduced us with the city history, whose most parts were known to us since we are neighbour country and had relations during previous centuries, that made informations more interesting.
Accomodation and food in hotel were managed so that we could use the whole day for visiting popular museems, traditional places and historian objects and to have breakfast and dinner at hotel.
The most interesting part of the trip for all of us was night river cruise on the Danube. Everything about the Budapest that was presented to us during the day, we had then from another perspective. I should also add, that almost none of us ever had experience on the boat, ship or the cruiser.
All that we saw that night was impressive. Budapest as the city with lot of nice bridges, gave us impression of one of most beatiful places in Europe by a night. The lightings and everything else connected to city architecture was brilliant.
We used to talk days and days after about our experience from that trip and especially about river sightseeing if the Budapest.
Hungary is very nice place to visit, especially when you add that it was my first experience of visiting another country, I am sure memories from it will be stored for all of my life.
