“It was a dream and I don’t want to wake up”, an unforgettable days which I have spent in one small town I will remember forever.
It was my first time abroad, everything were quite different from my home country
First, devoting their life to education, when I was going through the road the cleanness of the roads and path, the streets polished with water, and when I became close to the University of Kansas I saw students sat on the green lawn under the trees and busy with their own works, read books, newspapers.I felt the atmosphere of devoting their life to education. In each bus stop we can find newspapers, in each single corner we can see libraries, Internets free of charge.
Second, kindness, I will say some words about my friend. Her name is Suzy. When I was in Kansas, she supported me and once I asked her, how can I answer to her kindness? She answered not to think about it, that the life like a cycle our kindness will return, not exactly from that person which you have supported but from other person we do kindness to one person and will have answer from another person.Still her words echoing in my ears whenever I do something good I will remember her words.
Third, ready to help when I entered to supermarkets the written words in sellers’ t-shirt “Can I help you?” brought me to thoughts yes they have desire to make the life better, they are eager and ready to help.
Those who once, lived or worked or educated in University of Kansas, Lawrence, will be part of Jayhawks. The sports teams at the University of Kansas, in Lawrence, Kansas, are known as the Jayhawks. I had a chance to watch the basketball championship from big screen of cinema and shout from all my sound. I couldn’t recognize myself “Go Jayhawks Go” I shouted all the time and stand from my place when the team scored goal. That night was unforgettable time, everyone were like one big family, happy, smiles, opening fireworks to the heaven, wearing Jayhawks’ t-shirt , drinking bear, singing song, even were tears from happiness. And no one asking another from which part you are? We all were one big happy family. How person can forget this? Never, never it was in 2008 but to me seems it was yesterday.
Six years passed from my trip, still sometimes I think “It was a dream and I don’t want to wake up”. I took only good things, marvelous memories, unforgettable stories, real friends, knowledge and never forget the days that I was a part of Jayhawks in Lawrence, Kansas the USA
