For as long as I can remember photography has been my utmost passion and always will be a lifelong compulsion for me. I have a passionate adoration for travel photography and have always dreamed to be part of the adventure which National geographic encapsulates.
My name is Alastair Gray, I am 20 years old and live in New Zealand. I am a 3rd year design/photography student at the Victoria University of Wellington. I am always seeking out ways to expand my creative outlook on photography and am devoted to learn from any way I can. When I take photos, I strive to capture a feeling that can translate to others. In turn the viewer can share the excitement that I live for in photography.
What I hope to gain out of this experience, is to continue to learn how to translate through my photographs that feeling of being in a place and moment in time, to people around the world. Also my family have increasingly become involved in philanthropic activities around the world. I am very interested about learning more from different cultures globally so that I can find out ways in which I can contribute philanthropically too.
