My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

It has always been my passion to learn, understand and capture every moment which might not repeat itself or which I would like to share with photography enthusiasts. I was an individual drawn towards Science and more precisely – Physics, which has now helped me to understand the science behind every DSLR as well.
My hobbies include philately, numismatics and I occasionally write poems. I had also learnt martial arts and I know to play a few musical instruments. I love reading, especially travel magazines, Dan Brown novels and Michael Freeman’s photography guides.
My photography journey kick started when I traveled to the United Kingdom to pursue my Master’s Degree in Aerospace Design. Initially I started with capturing portraits, followed by landscapes and architecture and lastly flora and fauna. A nature click that I had shot at a falls landscape in India had already won a few prizes for me at various local competitions. My new found interest in photography also includes food photography and occasionally street photography.

If I’m chosen to avail this scholarship , I would ensure that my learning would not stop there neither would I stop imparting my acquired skills.
