Monks wait near hin lat waterfall, silently and patiently under shelter for transport to take them to Chaweng,koh samui.

A Lone monk sits on a small piece of real estate high on a hill on koh samui. while next door a 100 room tourist resort caters for the guests every need in excess luxury.

20 years ago this solid gold buddha sat in a small ground level structure, today it is emtombed in a ornate white mable temple 40 metres above street level ,adorned with huge tin bells and beautifully carved statuettes
