My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

India | Monday, January 14, 2013 | 5 photos

My name is Gosia, I'm a vet. I love travelling (especially off the beaten track) and my camera is the best friend during excursions.

I was in a primery school when I bought my first National Geographic. I could sit many hours and admire breathtaking landscapes, interesting portraits of people and unspoiled places. I fell in love with photography. From that time it was my dream to take such a beautiful photos and travel around the world.
Right now photography gives me a lot of hapiness. It's an opportunity to learn more about people, their culture, traditions, world and myself.

Few times I had an opportunity to be a vet volunteer in India. Every time it was a wonderful experience. I'm a cheerful and positive person so I make friends very easly. People trust me and that's why they treat me as a good friend or a family member. I don't feel like a tourist. I sleep in their houses, I eat and work with them.

Without a doubt this scholarship would be an unforgettable experience. Right now I'm an amateur but in the future I would like to be a professional photographer. I know that I can't achieve this goal without help. I need someone who will show me the way.

About gonia

The owner keep an eye on his cow during treatment. Unfortunately many people are poor. That's why their animals get treatment only when it's free.
