My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

India | Thursday, July 4, 2013 | 5 photos

I have a keen sense of observation and the only way I can let people know about this, without unnerving them out is through photography.I was introverted and shy,Photography has helped me break barriers which I had built growing up.

Though there’s a lot that I've learnt along the way the one thing that I would like to mention is about the joy I get when somebody lets me into their world. It’s when I see their eyes sparkle, irrespective of how/where humans live we are able to relate ourselves to this very moment. This opens up all the ports to all the parallel universes that exist. I want my photographs to do this to become a dimension for the world to correlate, I want them to bring out this urge to travel by making everyone curious about what’s on the “other side”.

Under the mentorship of Edward Jason I would learn not only how to connect with people but nature itself. Thanks to his experience the connection between the birds, the trees, the animals and everyone/everything consisting of this eco system would be easier. Being his shadow for the 10 days in Greenland would impact my aesthetic sense immensely, which would open a new world of possibilities.
