To me photography means transforming ordinary places ,events into a visual treat with precise timing and composition . Ambience, dramatic lighting , juxtapositions, contradictions of subject matter have influence on my photography .I love to explore remote villages and hill stations. I usually wakeup in the early hours to exploit morning lighting conditions, and walk a long in search of subjects this habit contributed a lot to my photography and the by product is my physical fitness .
I have always had flair for creativity and visual arts.I am good at sketching and painting since childhood . I designed a Logo for my College of Engineering in 2002. The approach was against the conventional logo designs associated with Educational Institutions with strong ideation and it worked. I used Microsoft Power point as I was not accessible to vector graphic software at that time .Later on I learned Graphic design software by myself and I do illustrations as a hobby .
I hardly resort to manipulation when it comes to photography. I am blessed with opportunity of travelling across India and witness the diversity of culture .I believe Friendliness and Sense of humor make wonders for a photographer while shooting people even Fstops and Shutter speeds can’t do.
Since I am planning to pursue full time photography the scholarship would add tremendous value to my career.
I am confident of winning the scholarship and i feel i deserve the same as I am keen observer,passionate photographer with potential , willing to learn, young , hardworking to avail a life time opportunity of working under Mr. Jason . I have so much to learn and fine tune my perspective and technique from the master I shall work hard under the guidance of master and would deliver upto the expectations of programme .
