My Scholarship entry - Two cultures living together

I’m a 26 years old guy from the south of Chile, I like photography since I was a child, but two years ago photography became an important part of my life (when I got my first Dslr camera) since then I’ve been shooting every scenery, situation and people with my camera, trying to place my emotions and feeling in every shot and sharing them with other people that I may or may not know.

I was a backpacker after I finished college (with a Tourism degree) and that experience made me see the world “with other eyes”, making me get into photography more and more, dreaming about become a Travel Photographer, which is the best way to combine my studies with my passion and share my experiences with people from all over the world.

In the latest months I have been looking for the chance to show to other people, through my pictures, the way I see the world and those secrets stories that every place has. Winning this scholarship will be the best thing that could happen to me, because I will gain a lot of experience and I will learn all those secrets tips and technics from a Pro Photographer, making me a better person and this may help me accomplish my dream to become a Travel Photographer.
