World Nomad

My name is Giselle Renata. People always comment on the quality of my photos. They believe I have natural talent. My talent doesn't lie in technical ability, but in the ability to relate to different people because of my background as an immigrant and later, naturalized citizen of America. My talent stems from my passion for story telling through the lens. Cultural traditions are preserved through parable and narrative. Stories teach. Nothing is more powerful than story telling through images. Life is a book of infinite images flashing across the mind’s screen. Through photography I am able to put my own spin on how I see the world. As everything is in constant flux, including the world’s climate and cultures, photography is a powerful way to document, preserve, and share. My travels have molded the person I am today. So much so that I’ve pursued ways to continue this life style not only as self-exploration but also as a profession. I taught myself how to use photoshop and Imovie. Last year I put together a short for the reality T.V show ‘Survivor’ in hopes to continue developing as a world nomad. I'm passionate about discovering Oman and being mentored by Jason Edwards.
