My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
Switzerland | Friday, July 5, 2013 | 5 photos
Hi, I’m Danish/French amateur photographer living in Switzerland. My connection with Greenland is a lifelong story, I lived there from I was 6 month old till I was 4 years old on Disko island between Danes and natives. Neatherless to say the bonds where never broken and I still have friends and connections up there today. My passion for photography started in my teenage years. I usually go for the détails and the unusual, more than the classical postcard style. A constant need to progress and express myself artisticly. What drives me in photography is bringing emotions into the shot, make people see things from a different angle, telling a story.
To take pictures in the wild also include the native people and the connections they have with their soroundings. I’m truly interested in the human factor and can easily adapt in different environment, I’m curious and open minded.
I have travelled alot in my youth and still have the joy to discover new horizons. My personality is easy going, hard working, very motivated, lots of humour and off cause a passion for Greenland.
It will be a dream come true to win this competition.
My best regards. Nathalie Knovl
