My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am electrical engineer and I work as a teacher of computers in a high school. My passion with photography starts in 1993 when I started shooting black & white film spending hours in the dark room to develop photos. Today I keep shooting black and white film photography. Nowadays I don't work in darkroom but I only develop the black & white negatives and I scan the negatives with a film scanner.
I use two cameras sharing the same lenses (one manual film body Nikon FM2 and the body of Nikon D700). Asia is full of colour and this 5 photos are an example of my colour work. I don't like advanced manipulation techniques in photography and I use digital enhancements like masks, contrast enhancement that are also feasible in dark room manual printing of photos.
I love black & white aesthetics and shooting portraits. A good reason to choose me is that I have a lot of experience of black & white photography and I can be a good partner to this photographic project. I believe that black & white photography is a basis to develop aesthetics in photography and it is the abstract basis of colour photography.
