With limited time and great ambition we decided to look local for inspiration. Excited to have the opportunity to experience something new, we “got under the skin” of the local Wine Making tradition.
I (Annie) graduated from UCSB with a BA in Film and Media Studies. During my time at UCSB I grew as a filmmaker working on both school and personal projects. While my production experience is not extensive, my experience traveling and connecting with a place is. My passion for filmmaking mixed with Ali's ability to connect with just about anyone, will make for engaging, entertaining and original travel videos. We are both enthusiastic about creating and motivated to learn from others. Where our entry lacks in technical support we hope to make up for in creativity.
My ambition as a filmmaker is to learn from people, to capture and convey the encounters and experiences the world has to offer. I want to make films that encourage people to get off the couch and explore. This experience would mean the chance to learn from someone who has the knowledge and experience to give me a nudge in the right direction. I am determined to never give up but am unsure of what the next step should be.
