Back to the roots
After living in capital city of Serbia for couple of years, our friends decided to buy a land with an old house in a village called Vrmdža. They were living without electricity for one month before we paid them a visit.
My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited - Back to the roots

We were in our twenties when we decided to have our first child. Years before that, we spent traveling, exploring the world, taking photos and enjoying busy and active lifestyle. Photography was my passion, way to express myself and I always had my camera in my arms, around my neck, shoulders, waist... That changed a bit when our baby boy arrived and instead of my camera, he was in my arms, around my neck, shoulders, waist... As everything nice comes in pairs, soon we decided it was time for another young traveler and 18 months later, second baby boy was born. With them, it was different, it was fun, but I was looking forward to the time when they will run around me and I will be able to jump, crawl, hide again with my camera, just to freeze that wonderful moment. So I see this scholarship as a perfect opportunity to spend some quality time with grown-ups, with camera in my hands and talk about things that fulfill my life as well as accept challenges and carry heavy things, as I am mother of two, and that means I am strong. Very strong.
