Bala Chaturdashi and the Children of God

My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

The Children of God live near Pashupatinath temple, in Kathmandu. They collect coins from the river Bagmati, thrown by families of deceased people. They also collect personal belonging like clothes. The families of those who died, don’t care about them taking the coins or clothes, as once death, the person no longer needs them
