My Scholarship entry - The Majestic Beauty of Machu Picchu
Peru | Saturday, November 22, 2014 | 5 photos
My passion for Photography came late in life at the age of 33. I decided to buy a DSLR, enrolled on a couple of courses covering Digital Photography and haven't looked back since. Since a Child I have loved to travel, as an adult I have traveled extensively visiting many countries within Europe, and Indonesia, along with China and Japan. In 2010 I spent six months traveling through West Africa. The last three years I have spent living in Peru. Along with the discovery of new cultures and people, I often traveled to new countries in search of Surf, now I also travel to take photos. I have always been a lover of Nature and the Great Outdoors, I like to capture this natural beauty via photography, be it Sunsets, Flowers or mountain ranges. I would love to photograph wild animals and birds in their natural habitat, next year I want to travel to Rwanda to see the Gorillas. I recently carried out my first paid photography job after being invited by the Peruvian Government to document Machu Picchu and the surrounding area. The pay was low but the experience incredible. I would cherish the opportunity to work in the field with a Professional, experience the Amazon and learn from the best.
