My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Hi I'm Georgia Russell and I'm from a small town called Whangarei at the very top of New Zealand.I’m only 19 but for the past 3 or 4 years I’ve been trying to discover what I want to be in life. It’s taken me years but I’ve combined to of my utmost loves in this world which are Photography and Earth itself and in 2011 I knew what I wanted to be exactly and precisely, a photographer for national geographic. And to this day nothing’s changed. I have a hunger for travel and an eye for photography which I’m just dying to use. I couldn’t think of anything better than being mentored by someone with my dream job while traveling round one of the most beautiful culture lush places.My photos are most definitely at amateur level and I’m dying to get them further. It’s hard when you’re young, trying to be so good at something with a lot of other stiff competition and and trying to get your photos just as amazing as a renowned photographer. It’s hard, especially starting from scratch. But if you have the eye for it then you might be in luck I think.
