My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

As an individual, I try and strive for individuality. I am an aspiring adventure person. I have spent the last 6 years working towards being a mountain/climbing guide come photographer and promoting sustainability in the greater community.
I care a lot about what is occurring in our world and mainly our country, Australia. I am passionate about natural history and preserving it.
I am also passionate about colour and travel.
I have spent the best part of the last 6 years teaching myself how to document what I do. Whether it is abusing the vanity of those that I travel with or meet along the way, or capturing the raw nature of the people and colour of the street and natural world.
I am intrigued by the bird's eye view and the amount of perspective and interpretation it has to offer. I admire Bernhard Edmaier.
For 6 years I have been an outdoor guide and now I will return to university to study Nursing to extend my skills and allow opportunity for growth in myself and professional career.
I have passion, I have drive and I want to learn. All of the above is reason enough to be granted to opportunity to discover, work and learn more about the world.
