Basically,my name is Manuella,I was born in Texas,raised in Mexico City and I just moved to New Orleans to study.

The important things? I'm a lover,I love life,colors,people,eyes,grass,clouds,animals,objects,I love everything and photography lets me show how much I love things,by taking a camera and just shooting at something or someone. What I like about pictures is that it doesn't stops there,that moment in time will remain in my memory forever and in addition that moment in time is captured now,so every time I see that picture I can remember how I felt when I took the picture,what was happening around me,the weather,what the city smelled like,who did I meet that day and how I felt in that very moment and the principal reason why I took that picture.
I'm sure throughout this competition there will be thousands of submissions and probably most of them will be better photographers than me,but I can assure you no one has the same eagerness to know the world,to learn and to discover about everything out there,and I'm sure that going to a country like Oman will be a priceless experience and probably one of the highlights of my life.
