My Scholarship entry - A View of Yosemite National Park

I am currently a student in the UK working towards a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design. Having studied both Photography and Fine Art for two years, I have arrived at a fork in the road where I am having to choose between them to pursue as a career. I have a passion for photographing the ordinary in extraordinary ways, and winning this competition would give me a unique opportunity to learn from one of the world's finest documentary photographers. I would love for my photography to be taken seriously and this could be my time to shine. Having seen a small part of Yosemite National Park, USA, this chance to travel would open my eyes further and enable me to experience the natural world in its raw state and master how to capture it for myself.
