March 20, 2008! Lorraine, my best friend and the ultimate travel companion is my sidekick. We`re a couple of middle aged 50+ energetic, divorced women who love to travel and emmerse ourselves in the cultural aspects of each country.
We say Goodbye to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on July 23 for Jakarta, Indonesia. Our itinerary is flexible but will expand to Thailand, Laos, Burma, Cambodia, and Vietnam. We dedicate at least one month to each country, with a few months in Vietnam then up to China, Korea and Japan.
We`re reading up and searching the web for all kinds of info; so much to learn - so much to see.
