"The quicker we humans learn that saving open space and wildlife is critical to our welfare and quality of life, maybe we'll start thinking of doing something about it."
- Jim Fowler

I always have tried to make photography a bond between the wildlife and wild open spaces to people in big noisy cities, it is said that you can't love what you don't know, so pictures of a mountain glacier or a howler monkey may bring a first step towards beggining empathy for conservation.

I'm a biologist, and the most important tool for me while sampling in the filed is my camera. All living things ot there have a secret life, and trying to get a little piece of it by taking a picture demands patience, good reflexes, a little cunning and being able to take care of your camera no matter how unconfortable and hard is it to get a proper picture. It's a challenge and I love it, although I've never had a good quality photo gear, I'm sure wit can offset the lack of pro equipment, this to make sure you make the bond I told about a few lines back.

I'm also an experienced mountaineer, and to get to know Greenland and the Arctic would be more than a dream came true to me.
