I’ve managed to get some traveling done the past few years, and managed to take more than a few pictures along the way. I always enjoy traveling to new places and using my camera to capture the way I’m affected by the location. People are some of the most rewarding subjects to photograph. In applying for this scholarship I hope to open myself up to criticism and advice. I hope to learn how to better capture not just the subject, but the mood and frame of mind of the subject. Through more travel and better training I hope to bring these people and place to life for those who may never see or meet them.
