My name is Gabrielle and I want to be a travel journalist. A youth growing up in South East Asia instilled in me a love for travel. I now live in Sydney and study journalism. So far I have been lucky enough to have travelled through Europe, Japan, Fiji and last year I spent three months living in a village on the East coast of Kenya. From there I did some independent travel through Tanzania and - to the most amazing place I have been so far, the island of Zanzibar. I fly to India in two days for a short three week visit with university - wish I could stay longer!
I love photography, writing, documentaries, meeting new people, eating ANYTHING, adventure, spontaneity, the weird and the wacky. I love history - especially ancient and am constantly fascinated by the stories of people around the world.
Hopefully in between mountains of uni work I'll be updating on here frequently - it's a great site and I love reading the work of others!
