My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Dear judges,

My name is Gabriella Alodia, you can call me Gaby. You will find a slightly different name in my passport: Gabriella Alodia Adiputra. The immigration needed a family name for my passport, and I do not have one, so I simply added my father's last name as my family name.

Yes, I love taking pictures since high school, but I never really knew the difference between 'taking pictures' and 'photography.' So far, I only consider the thing I am doing until now as 'taking pictures' because I am such an amateur on this thing. I learned the basics of photography from my friend, just to make the pictures look better.

To be honest, I have just thought about making photography as my job after I found this opportunity and realizing that, I might took good pictures from my last trip. But if you are asking about my passion, I would definitely answer: traveling the globe, exploring new cultures, and having new experiences. I would do anything to have a job that would make me travel a lot. I believe that traveling would change people's life. Or at least, make them see things 'from the other side,' so they could realize how blessed they are, and how beautiful it is, to live with smiles.
