Looking through the lens of the camera, I am brought into the moment, seeing it in a new spontaneous way. That moment speaks volumes about it's essential nature and i get to create a work of art out of the true grit of life. I am emoted by the ordinary goings on of life; baring witness to what's hidden behind the familiar. Love the challenge of capturing that moments story. It is exciting to me, to ask, what needs to be told here, what are the themes repeating themselves, what needs me to give a voice to it. I have so much passion for finding and capturing those truly great images that connect on every level. Only, i do not always succeed in the outcome. I know i have a LOT to learn technically. I have been working volunteering at C31. I have so much i want to photograph; stories and places in the world to explore. It would be an absolutely incredible insight and inspiration, to assist such a tremendously talented, impassioned, down to earth photographer and have the opportunity to do work of my own with such mentoring. The experience, knowledge and expertise would exponentially improve me a a photographer. An amazing opportunity that i would immerse myself in it completely!
