Eviction in Phnom Penh

In fact, for 2years ago I have known about this sad event which happened at Dey Krohorm commune, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. But I don’t have any material and time to make a documentary to show to other people yet. Till June 2011, I bought a cheap video camera to explore the place which I will visit. Fortunately, I saw the nice opportunity in world nomad’s website, immediately I remember about my plan and the sad event which will happen for 2years ago. So I think this is a nice time for me to show this story to the world. For sure, I never make own documentary before, sine July 2010 I was volunteer to became a young reporter of youth today program, and I learn a lot from there such as how to be a camera man, scriptwriter and producer as well. I volunteer there only 4months and stopped till now. But I still remember about that. So this is a first documentary which I done by myself. However I may not perfect, but I love to watch it. My ambition as a documentary maker, I just want to share any story which I have known to the world, because documentary way can spread out with efficiency. I can learn more and improve my documentary if I win this scholarship. Other hand, this story will famous and spread out to the world, so it will be an idea for Cambodia government to rethinking about eviction in Cambodia. I don’t want to see any more people get suffer from eviction even my community as well.
